Sigor Corporation was established in 1991 by Igor Skakovsky,
the current President/CEO, as an analytical laboratory for applied sciences, technologies transfer and its management.
During the period from October, 2000 through October, 2003 Company transformed itself into worlds pioneering R&D
laboratory in rock mechanics and provider of innovative well stimulation services.
For the Company, year 2002 was a year of the breakthrough in development
of oil and gas well stimulation technologies.
The main contribution to a breakthrough was an acquisition of Know-How,
and contract-employment of key scientists and rock mechanical engineers who possess collection of dilatant
characteristics of the formation rocks. This collection summarize over 40 years of
experimental work on creation of dilatancy under dynamic loading conducted in USSR.
In 2003, Sigor Corporation began commercialization of developed technology.
From May 2003 to October 2004, 19 Torpedoes was shot, 15 out those, shot in the Appalachian basing in September and October
alone. So far, 12 Case Studies conducted on oil and gas wells in USA.
Today Sigor Corporation offer Standard and Integrated fracturing services
under patented Trade mark SWTorpedo.
